Rolf Lovland of Secret Garden is to release a book called “YOU RAISE ME UP – The Story of Secret Garden”. The book recounts the story of Secret Garden – from their historic Melody Grand Prix (“Eurosong”) victory in 1995 up until today.
The book also includes chapters written by Barbra Streisand, Roger Hodgson (Supertramp) and a host of other industry personalities. In other words, the whole story about the genesis of the International hit, “You Raise Me Up”. The book contains over 1,000 photos – from the artists’ private photo album, most of which have never been published. We’ll keep you informed on the exact International release date and its availability.
Also Secret Garden related; The Norwegian Broadcasting Company’s TV station NRK2 has broadcasted an episode of it’s highly popular series, “Hitlåtens Historie” (“The History of the Hit Song”) dedicated to Rolf Lovland and Brendan Graham’s phenomenal mega hit “You Raise Me Up”. The show will visit many of the small chapters behind the big story of “You Raise Me Up”.
