Two years after the worldwide success of her albums “Arctic Sunrise”(2014) and “Equilibrium”(2015), Kerani is back with a new concept album, called “Stardust” which will be officially released on May 8th, 2017.
“I want to apologise to everyone for the long wait. During the past 2 years, I have totally dedicated myself to composing and arranging this 10-track recording. This time was very much needed to shape this exciting musical project into a masterpiece, especially since so many musicians were involved”, says Kerani.
“Stardust” is a space-themed album that was recorded with the Roermond Symphonic Orchestra, and the mixed Vocal Ensemble “Canto Rinato”. Kerani plays the piano and a wide range of synthesizers and is joined by a number of professional musicians such as Terry Oldfield (flute), Romain van Beek (guitars), Erwin Gielen (drums) and Bob Kessels (percussion). Wilfred Sassen and Siana Dragneva (solo violin), Joanne Wigmans (solo viola), Joep Willems (solo cello) and Lars Wachelder and Cleo Simons (French horns) – all connected to the Symphonie Zuid and the Dutch National Symphonic Orchestra – reinforced the team.
A total of 60 musicians have participated in this elaborate project which was lead by executive producer Arno Op den Camp. “Stardust” will be available to pre-order on CD-Baby and via direct email to Kerani (firstname.lastname@example.org) as of April 18, 2017.
