This October, Loreena will launch the first round of her Lost Souls tour with performances in Brazil, Argentina and Chile.
“I am thrilled to return to South America this fall and to perform some of the songs from my new album. Our plans are to tour off and on over the next few years” says McKennitt.
“As I’m not only the artist, but also the manager of my business I am heavily involved in building the tours and as a result we’re not able to tour as much or as steadily as some other artists. Nevertheless, we are hoping to perform in as many territories as possible, as sharing the music (live) is one of the most enjoyable phases of the creative cycle.”
During the tour, Loreena will be accompanied by fellow musicians Brian Hughes on guitars, oud and Celtic bouzouki, Caroline Lavelle on cello, Hugh Marsh on violin, Dudley Philips on double bass and Robert Brian on drums.
