“Nocturne” by City of Dawn is a work of art dealing with evening or night. A calm melancholy mood, and a clear melody floating with orchestra chambers, minimal field recordings, and some faint drone billows to accompany the dreamy compositions.
The album is a follow up to “Aubade“, and represents the evening scenery and reflective emotions of sadness, anxiety, despair, and loneliness during personal experiences. Damien hopes to bring listeners into a healing and reflective state, also bringing the realization that we need to take care of ourselves and help others, and that we are not alone.
