Dyan Garris – Orenda: Breath of Angels

252

Orenda: Breath of Angels is Dyan Garris’ 14th album. This is ten tracks of contemporary relaxation music inspired by the need for all of us to breathe, relax, release, and feel peace and tranquility in our individual and collective soul.

Orenda is “a supernatural, divine force within every human being. Always omnipresent, it empowers people to change the world in a positive, loving way. It is also the energy that effects change in one’s own life,” according to The Urban Dictionary

The music was written and performed by Garris on three different keyboards, a Korg Triton Extreme, Korg Krome EX, and a Yamaha MOX8. Two tracks, “Water For The Soul” and “Home,” are remixes. The music has a theme of breath or breathing, soft breezes, like angel kisses, perhaps, and “lightness” of spirit in general. We CAN effect change in the world by vibrating to and staying in a place of light and love. Music helps. These tracks were designed for exactly this.

The album features guest artists Sherry Finzer (flute), Juliet Lyons (VOX on “Every Time You Breathe”), Rebekah Eden (ethereal VOX), Tony Garviz (guitars on “Gentle Traveler”), and Louis Anthony deLise’s string arrangements (“Home”). The music was produced by John Herrera, Clamsville Productons, Chandler, AZ.

Dyan Garris is a multiple award-winning New Age recording artist, an award-winning author, and an official music reviewer for Zone Music Reporter (ZMR), NewAgeCD, and Spirit Seeker Magazine.

Garris’ recordings include a series of independently tested music and meditation CDs that earned The National Health & Wellness Stamp of Approval. Her latest CD, Mystic’s Nine, won a Global Music Award. The song Mystic Sea from the same album won the 16th Annual IMA (Independent Music Awards) VOX POP WINNER award, New Age Song category. Her music is available on Pandora, Spotify, iTunes, Apple Music, Sirius XM, MoodMusic, Muzak, Music Choice, and more.
