Suzanne Herman’s new album is called A Seaside View. The west coast of Florida, in the Tampa Bay area, has beautiful, vast beaches with powdery white sand and amazing sunsets.
The beach at the northern point of Anna Maria, a local barrier island, is incredibly natural and pristine; it is where the Gulf of Mexico meets Tampa Bay. This spectacular panorama, with its changing moods and coastal wildlife, is the setting for the solo piano album, A Seaside View.

The Tampa Bay area, which inspires Herman, is known for its rich culture and history. The area’s Latin and Cuban influence, pirate culture, and diverse neighborhoods provide a unique atmosphere that blends Spanish culture with typical American culture. The Tampa Riverwalk, downtown and Channel districts, and Ybor City are some of the places where artists can find inspiration and adventure. All of this can be heard – and felt – listening to A Seaside View.
