Three Windows – Songs of Eden & Michelle Qureshi

The new EP “Three Windows” is a collaborative project by Mans Ek known as Songs of Eden and Michelle Qureshi. It consists of four tracks that are playful, refreshing and vibrant.

“Kumi Daiko” opens “Three Window” with a tender piano motif by Mans, soon joined by Michelle’s soothing guitar and develops into a chilled groove with a delightful interplay between guitar and piano. This gives way to the spirited energy of “Asking” with an array of percussive and plucked instruments that calls out for movement by the listener.

Inviting a moment of introspection, “Color Theory is gentle, wistful and sweet, ushering in a comforting harmonic progression first introduced on guitar. This downtempo moment leads blissfully to the final track of this EP. “From My Windows” brings the listener back to the heartbeat of this collaboration with the chilled optimism discovered as they worked together. The artists chose the title “Three Windows” because this collaboration in a sense created a third window in which to see their music!’
