Images by William Thomson is a beautiful short collection of solo felted piano recordings composed as mood pieces. The music is relaxing, peaceful, and reflective. William’s idea for this EP was to keep the very first musical idea that came to him while sitting at the piano.

William wanted to capture the real mood and feeling of each time he sat at the piano without overworking the music, keeping its simplicity. From this experience, five honest and intimate compositions were captured and recorded.
About the artist
William Thomson is a pianist and composer from the UK, inspired by both classical and contemporary music. William started learning the piano at the age of 14 and has continued to work on his dream of becoming a composer and performer of his original music. Williams’love for classical and minimalism can be heard in his music with his beautiful melodies and chordal structures. His music has been described as emotive and relaxing. Recently, William has been experimenting with felted piano and close microphone techniques to create an intimate sound world for the listener to be immersed in while listening to his music.
