Masako – Lost there Found here

319

Masako recently released her eighth album Lost there Found here. The album is, as usual, produced by Will Ackerman and Tom Eaton and, of course, Masako.

As the album opens, soft piano keys mimic the first light of dawn. Listening to Spirit Forest is a truly enchanting experience.

Each track is a different scene from nature with Masako’s piano setting the foundation. Melodies such as Winter Tale and Mid Hudso flow like a gentle stream or rising majestically like a mountain peak. Lost there Found here is not just a collection of music, but an journey through various facets of nature’s splendor.

Masako is a Japanese-born pianist and composer with extensive training in classical music and jazz. She now lives in the Northeastern USA. Most of her compositions have been inspired by nature. She hopes that her love of nature and eco- consciousness are reflected in her sound, and that her music could help in some way to protect our beautiful planet.
