Dan Kennedy is soon ready with a new album called “MOUNTAINS MADE OF SHADOW, ANTHEMS MADE OF LIGHT”, to be released on 2 March 2018.
It is an album that is 100% piano music, pure and simple. New England composer-pianist Dan Kennedy has focused entirely on creating new landscapes of sound, offering rich and scintillating piano works. A feast for the soul. Recorded by Joe Bongiorno at Piano Haven Studios in Sedona, Arizona. Deep 6-panel digipak design by Matt Strieby features some hypnotic, lyric quotations from diverse sources such as Emily Dickinson, Sappho, and Leonard Cohen.

Whisperings and Enlightened Piano Radio pianist Dan Kennedy has performed throughout New England and across the country. Conservatory trained at Oberlin and the New England Conservatory, Dan has been heard on over 250 radio stations, as well as on Pandora, Spotify, Music Choice, and SiriusXM. Dan’s music reached #7 on the ZMR Top 100, #4 on the OWM Top 100, and was one of John P. Olsen’s Top 10 of 2012.
