Vangelis died at a hospital in France on Tuesday, 79 years old. He was being treated for Covid-19.
The death was reported by Greek newspaper OT, who quotes an announcement by the law office that represented him.
Vangelis’ last release was Juno to Jupiter, released in September last year.
It is a sad day, both for movie music in general – but also for New Age music.
