Kalyani – Colleen Buckman – is a Minneapolis based Singer/Songwriter, World Folk Musician, Holistic Healer and Producer. She is now ready with an album called Fertile Ground.
Fertile Ground is an homage to Mother Earth; Our Soil, Our Water, Our Fire, Our Air and the Universal Language of Music. The album includes 18 tracks of soulful songs, sanskrit chants, and sufi prayers woven into a sonic landscape of rythym, melody and storytelling. Grammy nominated, Dave Stringer, is featured in track 4, Hey Maheswarah, and Mark Murphy(Producer of Nahko and Medicine for the People’s, Dark as Night, and Wookiefoot produced three tracks.

Colleen Buckman has shared the stage with/or opened for Nahko and Medicine for the People, Trevor Hall, Dave Stringer, Wookiefoot, Brenda McMorrow and more. She has also played or produced numerous events and festivals including Bali Spirit Fest, ShangriLa, BhaktiFest Midwest, Common Grounds Yoga and Music Festival, Deva Premal, Miten and Manose, and the Twin Cities Kirtan Festival.
