“Tale of Dreams” by Ronald Van Deurzen is an orchestral journey of ethereal and thematic music, taking you to another world of magical forests, dragons, knights and unexpected dangers. Its fantasy-themed music has a Celtic orchestral sound with tinges of New Age and dreamy textures.
The album is composed by Dutch pianist and composer Ronald Van Deurzen and consists of orchestral driven soundtrack music. While his piano-roots can be heard throughout many of the tracks you will also hear other instruments such as harp, cimbalom, oboe, flute, French horn and duduk bringing various colors and moods to the listener.
“Tale of Dreams” is available on Bandcamp:
“Tale of Dreams” will attract soundtrack and Celtic music lovers and is a great score to listen to when reading fantasy-literature, exploring nature on a misty autumn morning or by simply letting yourself be taken over by its mystical musical narrative.
The album was released in 2013, but the need to escape into another world has perhaps never been greater than in the age of Covid19. Also note that Ronald Van Deurzen recently released the single “Hopeful Bliss” – which will be reviewed soon here on Newagemuisc.guide. “Tale of Dreams”, and selected songs from “Imaginations“, are now playing on New Age Stars Radio.
