Mike Oldfield will release “Return to Ommadawn” in mid-August.

So far we haven’t gotten any sound samples, but we have something else to show; this list showing the 55 parts of the album;
From this we can see that Mike will return to the long instrumental genre. The above picture was posted on Mike’s Facebook page, with the comment; “Looks like 55 new pieces – Part ONE has a longer end section.”.
This is truly exciting news for all MO fans. Can’t wait!
