Musicians David Rose (Native flute) and Dan Kennedy (piano) have been playing music together since 2015 as the duo Ancient Voices. “Under Open Sky” is their debut album, to be released on February 1, 2020.
The album is, according to Rose and Kennedy, “a scintillating blend of faraway panoramic musical imagery with more contemporary, upbeat numbers.”

Of Mexican/Indian and Native American heritage (Choctaw/Cherokee), DAVID ROSE is well-known on the festival and flute circle scene. 9-year United States Army and Navy veteran, David’s own flute music has been featured on MSNBC with Painted Raven, and on Mars Lasar’s “Tahoe Spirit.”
Whisperings and Enlightened Piano Radio pianist DAN KENNEDY has performed in 21 states across the country, and Canada. Classically trained, Dan’s music has been heard on 250 radio stations, plus Pandora, Spotify, Music Choice, and SiriusXM.
