Secret Garden is currently working on their 10th original studio album, and the album will be released sometimes late in 2018.
Fionnuala and Rolf writes:
“We have just finished our three Christmas concerts in Oslo in the beautiful cathedral “Oslo Domkirke”. We had the pleasure to share the stage with some amazing Norwegian artists, and the concert was broadcasted on Norwegian TV2 before Christmas. It was a lovely end to a good year for Secret Garden.”
Looking back on 2017
“The highlights of the past year have been many but our concert in Atlanta in the US, when we were invited to perform by International Rotary, was a standout moment.
There, we were accompanied by the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and the Voices of Atlanta gospel choir and performed to 20,000 people. It was also a very emotional night as it was our last performance with our manager Barry Matheson at the helm. He has guided and taken great care of us since 1996 and has now reached the time to take a back seat. We miss him terribly but the transition, thanks to Barry, has been really smooth.
This year also saw us back touring China for the first time in 7 years! The changes there were remarkable: beautiful new concert houses and hotels. Our 10-city-tour was a huge success and we enjoyed every minute of it. We have been invited back for a follow up tour in November 2018.”
