David Lindsay’s Ever So consists of new works for guitar. There are guitar solos as well as duos and trios (and one quartet) with superlative performances by Will Ackerman on lead guitar, Charlie Bisharat on violin, Jill Haley on English horn, Noah Wilding on vocals and Michael Manring on bass guitar and fretless bass.

David’s musical background is classical guitar performance and lute studies at the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto and at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia with Professor Carol van Feggelen. Carol was a student of the late, great Andres Segovia. David began writing instrumental music for the guitar in 1980 after graduation from music school.

In 1983, he was astonished by an introduction to the music of Will Ackerman, Alex De Grassi, George Winston and Michael Hedges-all artists on the storied WINDHAM HILL RECORDS label. It was as if something was in the air!

Ever So is David Lindsay’s fourth album with Imaginary Road Studios. The album is produced by Will Ackerman. Will is the founder of Windham Hill Records and a Grammy Award winning musician and producer of over 25 gold and platinum records in the U.S.A and overseas. Tracking, recording and mixing are by Bill Esses. Mastering is by Tom Eaton at Sounds & Substance.
